Sunday Sketches

Here's a little folk style art flowers. Just random doodling and then added some colour using watercolour pencils.
I've had watercolour pencils for years but never really used them until recently...but they are quite fun to use.

Off to another children's party today so not much time to paint.

Right, I'm heading over to Sophia's blog to check out the other Sunday Sketches before I head out.....it's well worth a look to see everyone's sketches.

I love experimenting with different mediums. I've been playing with my watercolour pencils too lately. A pretty little sketch - perfect for brightening the very grey and dull morning we have here.

Your first sketch reminds me of a whimsical mouse on a flowery parade. And I love what you've done with the watercolor pencils ... it's absolutely fine art and expertly professional. You just may inspire me to try my hand with this type of pencil, and that's saying alot as normally I don't dare draw.

I love your artwork the colors are so beautiful. I can't use watercolors very well at all...they are what I use with my latest uploads but they suck so I make them look better digitally.
