This weeks Sunday Sketch is another whimsical piece......maybe the older more serene sister of last weeks.
I used too much water as the paper in my sketchbook crinkled up a bit, so I am thinking of applying gesso to the page first and then using acrylics to paint my next piece, whatever that might be.
Please check out the other sketches done, everyone is just so talented.Have a great Sunday xx

She's beautiful!
Love the soft colors, and don't worry too much about the crinkled paper, I think it can be a nice effect sometimes~ ;3
Very beautiful, the softness of the colors just enhances her beauty.

I love the contrast between the image of the sketch before and after the watercolor was added. Just the way it "pops." Great job. :-)
So beautiful. I just took a class that the teacher would iron her sketchbook at the lowest setting to get the crinkles out.
she is lovely, a very sweet serene sister.
What a beautiful princess Helen!
@Nelly - Iron your sketchbook? Intriguing!

She's very pretty!
Love the soft colors, and don't worry on the crinkles, sometimes they can add depth to the piece.
She's so pretty and I love the colors you used!
She is really just gorgeous! :-) such beautiful colors!
I wish we could just iron out wrinkles in paper. That happened to me but I felt the crinkles gave the painting character. Yours came out beautifully.
